To me this quote means that when you are determined to be obedient it is something that you have already set your mind to accomplishing therefore you do not get irritated when doing the work it requires. You are always building to get to being one hundred percent obedient. Every single thing that you do you are doing to accomplish your goal. Even if you think that it is the smallest thing and that that little thing will not matter you should know that every little thing that you do does count. It might not make a difference in that exact moment but in the long run you will see that every little thing that you did does pay off. At the end of the day you are doing everything you do to become a better person and to become a more obedient person. Therefore do not complain when you want to take the shortcut and want to choose the wrong thing.
