Class/Self Evaluation

Part 1

1: What I like about this class is that it's easy and I learn a lot about life and careers. I also like that we get to use computers to do our work. 

      -  What I dislike about this class is that the music is so boring. Trap music should be on sometimes.  We should pick what we want to write about.

    2: To improve the class in my perspective, we should listen different types of music and work on other things other than statements and careers. 

        3: I did my best in this class because it's really easy and I like typing.

         4: I am committed to be a CTR person because you get to be a better person. It teaches you about life a lot and it makes me feel good.

     This quote means that its better to be alone than to be in a bad company because being alone is keeping you away from bad people who can blame you from doing something you didn't do like for example trying something new your friends tell you to join them you had said no but once they call the police they blame it on you and you get in trouble in which you didn't cause.

But another example is not trying bad stuff others tell you to or offer you bad things but if you do say yes you can get addicted and that's how you might end up dropping out of school or either not getting a college degree because you chose to hang out with your friends and decide to chose the wrong and started doing bad habits you never wanted to do cause at the end you will have no one by your side and all they wanted to do is try new things that would affect your whole life and that becomes a habit to you so never follow others steps do what you like to do and whats best for others and not make them you are a bad person.

I think this quote is true because you do was right you never have to fear. for me this quote means to me that if you choose to success you would never have no fear. I also think that by helping yourself you would never have to fear again. for me doing the wrong is always going to be fear because in your mind you would always keep the memory with you. I think you would never have fear unless you do the wrong.

The 3 Questions

2. Am i committed to doing my very best?
3. Do i treat people the way i want to be treated?

 I think this is true because you don’t know went to trust people I think sometimes you could trust them on some stuff. People are committed to do their best because if you don’t try you wouldn’t get what you wanted. I do treat people how they wanted to be treated because if you don’t they are not going to treat you in a nice way. for me all these are yes because i never treat.

Physical Fitness

But we do know what the Greeks knew:that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong."   

what this quote is truing to say is that we all need a healthy body. The sports or things you do to keep yo healthy is not the only thing to do. You need to also eat healthy. Or make healthy milkshakes,etc. Also you can be the one that can in a diet. you need to read for your mind can be healthy. We are all smart but we just don't know it or we don't use it. Stay away from drugs. We need to stay away coffee.

Dubai has a warm, sunny climate that is ideal for tourism, with mild temperatures for most of the year and a low rainfall. Kindness

What this quote is trying to say is that you need kind to be great and feel great. If you want to be one of those great people you need to be kind. Show everyone that you are kind. Be great to yourself and others around you. You can be a good person no matter what. Always chose the right. If you want greatness back you need to give greatness. Be kind to whomever. If they are your enemies still be kind and tell them whey you will not like to talk to them. Never be mean to someone who doesn’t deserve it.

For example I was so mean to this boy; he was so kind to me. But I was never kind to him. I will always call his names. But I wouldn’t even care. So one day he came up to me and asked why I’m mean to him. So I thought of it and I never knew why. So I said sorry. After he told me that I started to be good to him. He didn’t get kindness. He didn’t even deserve me being like that. But now I know to not be mean to others. 

Thanksgiving Week

This past week i sleep and ate all the days.This are the things i did in thanksgiving break i did my homework, i clean the house ,helped to my mom later i watched the classic Barcelona vs Real Madrid and the Barcelona won 4-0  later i was in the park playing basketball with a new friends than i met at the park. The Wednesday i went to the mall with my sister and we ate pizza and i buy a new watch .

The Thursday i was sleeping in the morning and in the night i watched like 3 movies of horror the first movie i watched was Smiley the second Sinister 2 and the third was the better Insidious 3. The next day i went to work and in the night i out with my dog to walk.

And the Saturday  and Sunday i was working too and when i was in my house in the night i watched a new movies.

reflection : i agree with this quote because i believe it this . if something is then why do it . if something is not true then why would you say it . because lets say you tell someone you are mad and horrible . but you dont really mean that then you with be hating their feeling because you lied and said something that wasn't true . if we know something is wrong why would you do it  cause you may hurt someone . we need to learn to listen to yourself . example : don't lie because everything will come out soon 

 

 Thanksgiving

An annual national holiday marked by religious observances and a traditional meal including turkey. The holiday commemorates a harvest festival celebrated by the Pilgrims in 1621, and is held in the US on the fourth Thursday in November. A similar holiday is held in Canada, usually on the second Monday in October. We should all be thankful for what we have. People do it for saying sorry and people even do stuff for others. Thanksgiving is always on a Thursday. In the year 1621 they pulled out the first thanksgiving. everyone does it because they care for others and they want to be thankful.

"Doing what is right, fair and honorable is more important than winning or losing."

This quote means is the same won or lose just you have fun in the game or whatever thing else because is important win but if lose you have to accept and i think this statement can relate to sports whats the point of winning or losing if you didn't try and didn't play correct. I believe you must show respect to all fellow players in order to play correctly because whats the point of going out there when all you worried about is making the player feel bad play with honor and fair so that you may have a good game.

Reflection; I would like to be an oncologist because you get high pay, collaborate with other specialist, and important job because cancer is one of the leading causes of deaths in the U.S.

What I think of this quote is you have to say no when people try to steal you cell phone even though they may have a little power of authority/eminence and abuse their power so if they ask you let me see your phone say no!

Everyone has to face the truth sometime in life it depends on how you handle it either you withhold the truth or you tell someone.

Health Science Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities: Locate medical literature by conducting research through databases and reference sources. Their skills are required by private businesses, public agencies and medical researchers.

Salary: $47,611

Education:  Master’s degree in library science with a concentration in the health science, medical library or similar discipline.

Reflection: I would not want to be a Health Science Librarian because this is not something that I am interested in.

Veterans Day

Veterans Day!

1.     What is Veterans Day?

Veterans Day is a special day celebrated on Nov 11. It is a public holiday held on the anniversary of the end of the war. It also means Armistice Day in 1954.

2.     When is it?

Veterans Day lands on the date of November 11 every year.

3.     What is the purpose of Veterans Day?

The purpose of Veterans Day is to thank the people that showed their support in the United States.

4. Why is it important to show honor and respect on Veterans Day?

It is important because lots of people risked their life to be what we are today and in making the world better.

5. List several ways to show honor and respect on Veterans Day?

7. This really changed people and made us so we have to be respectful to america and everyone around us. I would want everyone to feel the same when they enter the world.

8. I feel respectful to all the people around me. Everyone should be treated the same no matter color, religious, sex, and race. The world was made for us so it is sad that some people don't see the little things that make the world bad and how it is looking. I say we can all work together to end the bad things to make the world good and the best it can be. We should be thankful for everything that is given to us. No matter how small or big. Life was given to us to live it the correct way and we want everyone to have the same because we only live once. That is why we should honor all who survived and died for helping us get one step ahead in the future.

I believe this statement means if you walk with the good you shall learn from that and become good and if you walk with bad you will learn from that and you'll be bad. So if your with good you will rise with good and if our with bad you shall go down bad. So it also reflects on (CTR)- Choosing The Right because if you choose the right you'll go up if you choose the wrong you go down so always follow the good because that's whats going to lead you to something.

What this saying is that recreation is a good thing in good way. If you're going to recreate something it should be something good. The best recreation is to do good by doing good things. For example you want to recreate yourself but you want to recreate yourself in a good way with good habits. Why are you going to recreate yourself but with bad habits, there are some people that recreate themselves but with bad habits. Sometimes when people recreate themselves they usually recreate with good habits like doing all of their work doing what their supposed to be doing. Many people don't think the best recreation is to do good they think that when you recreate it can either be good or bad but many of those people choose bad.

   What this is saying is that when something is right then it is right even if like everyone is against it and doesn't want to do the right thing. Wrong is wrong even if everyone wants to do the wrong thing and not the right thing. For example lets say that you want to say that your group didn't do the project and to take a zero for like take no credit but your group doesn't want you to say that you guys didn't do it because you guys were lazy. Everyone in your group besides you wants to lie and say they did it but take credit for someone else's work. You are going to do the right thing even if your group is against your decision. Therefore you take no credit for it but your group did the wrong thing and took credit for someone else's work. Even if you're the only one doing the right thing then that is good because your doing whats right even when everyone else is against you and everyone is for it like choosing the wrong. 

Health Educator

Duties and Responsibilities: teach people behaviors that promote wellness. They develop and implement strategies to improve the health of people and communities.

Salary: $51,838                                                                                                                        

Education:  in order to become a health educator must have a Bachelor Degree in health educator or in health promotion.

                       

Reflection:  Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

Student Success Statement

This quote means to not give up what you want most for

 something you want right now. it also means to write down

 your goal on a piece of paper and put it somewhere you will

 see it the most. an Example of this quote is if you want to go

 to college but you decide to do something else you will have 

to sacrifice going to

Student Success Statement

" A CTR champion is a person who makes a great out of himself."

This statement means that if you choose the right you will become a great person. You could become a CTR person if you do what's right for yourself like always paying attention and never doing drugs. I am a good person when I do what I want even if some people don't agree I never give up on my dreams and thoughts.  Always be yourself and be the best that you can be and never do something that other people are doing be you and love yourself. If you choose the wrong then you will not be any thing to yourself.

Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Specialist

Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist is a person who is trained to treat ears nose and throat. They manage to find diseases in the ears nose and the voice box. As well as the voice box.

Salary: $193,695- $450,761

They complete about 15 years of education and training. Including 4 year under graduate program and another 4 year medical school and at least 5 years in training.

No I would not want to be one because I don’t want to be a doctor.

Student Success Statement

"Success is not an accident. Success is actually a choice. Are the habits you have today on par with the dreams you have tomorrow?

     Everyday you have different dreams that  you  sometimes don't mean like they might be good or bad. In  order to make dreams or to be successful you need to work hard  and think about it really hard. For example say you want to do  good on a test you have to work hard and be focused that a reason  to be successful and strive in life to become something really big a  long as you believe. If you really want to become something then you will try hard to make it happen.

Students Success Statement

obedience 

"When obedience becomes our goal, it is no longer an irritation; instead of a stumbling block, it becomes a building block"

To me this quote means that when you are determined to be obedient it is something that you have already set your mind to accomplishing therefore you do not get irritated when doing the work it requires. You are always building to get to being one hundred percent obedient. Every single thing that you do you are doing to accomplish your goal. Even if you think that it is the smallest thing and that that little thing will not matter you should know that every little thing that you do does count. It might not make a difference in that exact moment but in the long run you will see that every little thing that you did does pay off. At the end of the day you are doing everything you do to become a better person and to become a more obedient person. Therefore do not complain when you want to take the shortcut and want to choose the wrong thing.

I believe that the statement isn't always what it seems well because sometimes you need to choose the wrong in order to protect someone feelings so i believe you only need to choose the right sometimes 

Dermatologist

 Duties & Responsibilities: These are physicians who treat skin and also may treat disorders related to hair and nails. Yet, they first do is conducting consultations with patients to see any developing diagnoses and treatment plans. Then, they perform dermatological screenings to check for any symptoms, suspicious lesions and potentially problematic area.

Salary: $ 87,010 - $ 307,634

Education: a college degree: Medical School Preparation, Medical school: Mastering in the basics, and Internship: Getting some practice.

Reflection : No i don’t like this work because I like other career

Student Success Statement

Obedience

"Obedience is central to becoming, being,, and remaining happy."

 

To be happy you have to do the correct thing. If you do the wrong thing you will not be happy and you will be regretting the things you did wrong. Therefore, you must obey to do  the right thing. If you obey your parents if their rules or in anything they tell you they will be happy with you and will give you freedom. Your parents will allow you to go out with friends and have fun. By doing that you would be happy you have everything you want and need when you do the correct thing. In the other hand of you choose the wrong and decide to disobey your parents they will not let you and you will not be happy about that. Obedience is not only about obeying your parents its about obeying and authority figure as well.  If you disobey any law you will have to pay the consequences and those consequences will not always be your favorite. If you obey the law in the other hand, you will not be  getting punished and you might be awarded for doing the right thing. Even if you are not awarded for doing the correct thing you will be happy with yourself.

                                Soccer Player

Duties and Responsibilities: Soccer is played by people of all ages in just about every country in the world. Players of all skill levels can find the right league to make the game enjoyable. Increasing opportunities are available for accomplished players who want to pursue a professional career. Regardless of his playing aspirations, a soccer player needs a certain level of athletic skill and understanding of the game to be successful.   

Salary: $141,903.13 per year.

Education:

Training in soccer player field along with physical fitness training for an athlete.

Athletic training at college level.

Candidate must have qualified for athletic scholarship awarded in the field of soccer/Football.

Must have played hockey at school or college level to become certified football player.

Reflection: yes I like this career because I like to do exercise .

Duties and Responsibilities: A dental assistant job description is unique and varied. It requires many skills, as well as strong personal qualities. Fortunately, the skills needed to perform the key dental assistant duties can be learned through an accredited dental assistant training program. Learning to take on other dental assisting duties and responsibilities can be accomplished with job experience.

Education: It takes a relatively short period of time to become a dental assistant. Dental assistants receive their formal education through academic programs at community colleges, vocational schools, technical institutes, universities or dental schools. Graduates of these programs usually receive certificates. No because I don’t like this work
